The Thornhill Arms – Larger Groups & Exclusive Room Hire Terms & Conditions

 

If you have a larger party, a celebration or gathering that is looking for a more private dining experience, here at The Thornhill Arms we have four different rooms with two that can be used completely private (meaning there is no through route)

 

Please refer to the following prices, terms and conditions before making your booking…

 

We do not charge a set price for the exclusive use of a room, but a ‘guest under occupancy charge’

In simple terms, to have the room to yourself we charge for seats that are not occupied within that room.

*Monday –Friday Lunchtimes = £5 pp u/o charge

*Monday-Friday Evenings & Saturday Lunchtimes= £7 pp u/o charge

*Saturday Evenings & all day Sundays = £10 pp u/o charge

 

 

The Barn / Lantern Room

Capacity = 46



Please be advised for parties of 34 or above we can only offer exclusive use of the room which will incur the above charges 

           For a Horseshoe table arrangement Capacity =34

 

      Table plans can be individually designed subject to space

 

      For a buffet table arrangement

Capacity = 38 (or up to 50 for guests that don’t mind standing)

 

 

 

The Front Room /  “Little Room”

Capacity = 25



Please be advised that for parties of 18 or above we can only offer exclusive use of the room which will incur the above charges 

(otherwise the table will be placed elsewhere in the restaurant)

      For a Horseshoe table arrangement maximum =25

 

     Or two long tables if under =25

 

 

      For a party with a buffet table 

Capacity =20

 

 

 

The Middle Room

Capacity = 26



 

Please be aware this is through route to other restaurants

 

Maxium of 26 guests over 2 long tables

         

 

The Front Bar Restaurant

Capacity = 30



 

         Please be aware that this room is a through route for other guests arriving & leaving

 

     For one long table arrangement Capacity =20

      For other options please ask a member of staff

 

Terms & Conditions 


Under occupancy charged from full capacity

·            A non-refundable deposit of £5 per guest to be provided up to 2 weeks before the date of the booking

·            A pre-order for Appetizers & Main Course are required for parties over the size of 15, at least two days before the day of dining.


 Please call with any dietary requirements


·            Please state how you would like any steaks to be cooked!

·            Please feel free to decorate your room/ tables, the only decoration we don’t allow is table confetti as it has a tendency to stain our oak tables. We do offer helium balloons at £3.50 a bunch!
